Avery Park

Fort Collins, CO

The City of Fort Collins selected Modular Trail Structures to replace an aging pedestrian bridge in Avery Park. The new bridge, measuring 6 feet wide by 10 feet long, needed to be removable to allow for periodic park maintenance.

Designed for Function and Aesthetics

To complement the natural beauty and character of Avery Park, MTS designed the bridge with a Corten steel frame, known for its weathered, rustic appearance that blends seamlessly into outdoor environments. A powder-coated stainless steel cable railing was added to enhance safety while maintaining an open, modern look.

Removable and Resilient

The bridge’s modular design allows for easy removal and reinstallation, meeting the city’s maintenance needs without compromising durability or visual appeal.
