Liberty Park Trailside Nature Center - Summit County

As part of a larger trail development initiative, Summit County Metro Parks partnered with Modular Trail Structures to construct two durable boardwalk sections that span drainage areas near the Liberty Park Trailside Nature Center in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Designed for Sensitive Environments

The project site is located within an environmentally sensitive natural area, requiring careful planning and low-impact construction methods. MTS’s non-penetrating bearing plate footings were the ideal solution, meeting both structural needs and environmental restrictions.

Access and Enjoyment with Minimal Impact

The boardwalks provide a safe, stable pathway for hikers while protecting the surrounding landscape. By creating a designated route through the park, the MTS boardwalks help reduce erosion, preserve vegetation, and ensure that this beautiful natural area can be an accessed and enjoyed responsibly.
